I am very happy to launch the new website of the Catholic Board of Education-Lahore. As you know, education is the main focus and priority of our Archdiocese. We want to provide quality education to our children so that they can become active and faithful members of the Church and useful citizens of Pakistan.

I do hope that the new website will help to build a family-spirit of love, support and cooperation among all the educators of CBE school system. It can be a very useful tool to improve internal communication, share success stories and creative ideas and inspire new ways to raise the standard of education. Parents and students could also benefit from the website.

I would specially stress that the website should not be the sole responsibility of CBE office but a collaborative effort of all the schools. I wish this venture all success and hope it will be a great step forward in achieving our vision and mission.

Rest assured of my continual prayers and blessings.

With cordial regards, I remain,

Yours sincerely in Christ,

Rt.Rev Bishop Sebastian Francis Shaw
Chairman

Catholic Board of Education-Lahore.

Children are our future. Our future depends on how we educate our children. Being aware of our responsibilities, Catholic Board of Education endeavors relentlessly, to promote and uphold all that involves in securing our future according to God’s plans for us and our country. For this purpose, it runs around one hundred schools in urban and rural areas for the rich and poor, irrespective of caste, creed or ethnic affiliations.

These schools endeavor to give every student an equal opportunity for his/her wholesome growth with a quality and creative education. We also commit ourselves to impart knowledge with values. Such a growth which is evidently physical will also be intellectual, spiritual, formative and instructive to make them more useful members of society with proper moral values, motivated to serve society and to help in the uplifting of the underprivileged.

It is hoped in future, that the use of this site will help all stakeholders to work together to achieve our goals.

God bless us all!

Vice Principal’s Message

As the new Vice Principal of St. Anthony’s High School, it is my pleasure and honour to be a member of the school management.  This school community enjoys a rich history of academic excellence that is the result of a collegial partnership between the school staff and parents.  I am pleased to be appointed to this position and am looking forward to working with the very dedicated staff at St. Anthony’s High School to provide the best possible educational program for our students.

A unique characteristic of our School is the child-centred approach to education that results in excellent school programs.  Parents and staff who collaboratively work together each day for the students is the quality that makes the difference. Helping children to become all they can be is exciting, awe-inspiring and rewarding.

As parents and teachers, we need to recognize that we live in a rapidly changing society.  Our challenge is to prepare our children and students to live in a world that will be different from that of today.  We want children to develop the lasting knowledge, skills and attitudes they will need to live happy, useful and fulfilling lives.

On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to welcome all of you to St. Anthony’s High School for what promises to be an exciting and enriching school year.  I especially welcome all the new families to our school community and I wish you the very best in your new start.  I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and took the opportunity to spend time with family and friends

I am looking forward to working closely with everyone to make our school an even better place for our children to learn and grow.

Mrs. Shumaila Asher
